    Meet Our Team

    Claire Dean-Sinclair, Psy.D.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and the clinical director of the practice and of Courageous Kids Camp.  I specialize in the evidence-based treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders among children, teens, and adults. I also specialize in treating body-focused repetitive behaviors such as compulsive hair-pulling and skin-picking, as well as tic disorders. I received my bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, and my doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Children’s Hospital Colorado where I trained in the OCD and Anxiety Disorders Clinic.

One of the reasons I chose to specialize in treating OCD and anxiety disorders is that exposure therapy for these problems has been shown to be very effective. I love working with my clients and seeing them get better. Successful therapy for anxiety disorders requires that clients gradually face their fears, and I feel honored to help people tap into bravery that they might not have known they possessed in order to live more fulfilling lives.

I am originally from the Washington, DC area and have lived in Colorado for over 15 years. I love the outdoors, and try to spend as much time as I can hiking, skiing, or biking. I enjoy cooking and am always looking for my next favorite recipe. I live in the Denver area with my family.

    Courageous Kids Camp Team:

    Sheila Lepkin, MA, NCSP

Sheila Lepkin has been a Masters Level, Nationally Certified School Psychologist for over 30 years, and worked in public school districts in several states.  She also has a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Denver Family Institute.  During her long career in the public schools, Sheila was co-chair of the ADHD Task Force for her district. In her subsequent private practice, she helped create and develop Courageous Kids Camp, a summer intensive camp for children with Selective Mutism. Sheila is the Colorado Coordinator for the non-profit Selective Mutism Association.

Sheila loves spreading the word on helping children with selective mutism, especially to fellow public school professionals. Sheila enjoys spending time with her grandson and traveling to new places.

    Molly Lipkin, Psy.D.

My name is Molly Lipkin and I am a school psychologist in Aurora Public Schools, and also see children and families through my private practice. I received my PsyD in School Psychology at the University of Colorado Denver in 2021, and my Masters in Counseling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2014. My professional experience also includes working in early intervention, providing social emotional consultation for schools, completing a fellowship with JFK Partners in 2020, and participating in Courageous Kids Camp for children with selective mutism. I also co-lead the monthly Brave Talking Group with Dr. Sinclair. I am passionate about creating a fun and space safe for children to practice their brave talking skills!

In my free time, I love hiking, reading, traveling, and photographing my cat in seasonal costumes. I am originally from Colorado, and completed my undergrad at Indiana University (go Hoosiers!).

    Georgia Magnera, PhD, CCC-SLP

Georgia is a certified speech-language pathologist with almost 40 years of experience who has worked both in clinical and school settings.  She has a Masters and PhD in psycholinguistics and completed postdoctoral studies in clinical disorders. Children are most successful when therapy focuses on their strengths and uses those strengths to enhance communication. Courageous Kids Camp provides participants with an opportunity to grow the confidence that they can be brave talkers. It is an honor and pleasure to be able to facilitate and support that growth.
